Is Lab-Made Butter and Robot Pregnancy the Future? Or Just Flat-Out Weird?
From carbon butter to artificial wombs, we dig into bizarre headlines, expiration dates, and a devotional reminder that God’s grace meets us in our weakness.

Hi Friends,
Big news! This week marks the very first episode of The Insight Out Show! 🎉
Don’t worry, our Anchor Point daily devotionals aren’t going anywhere. You’ll still find those every Monday through Friday. But now, Thursdays are getting a little upgrade.
This new weekly show is still part of the Insight Out Podcast, but with more space to:
1. Dig into cultural stories shaping our world (the serious, the funny, and the downright bizarre)
2. Stay grounded in faith when the headlines feel overwhelming
3. Connect and come chat about these things in our Insight Out Community on Facebook (join us here)
Why the change? Change is good. Upgrades are good. But more than anything, this shift comes out of a lot of prayer and a desire to follow God’s leading. I wanted to create a space where we can catch up on what’s happening in the world, but not just stop at information or noise. We need faith truth we can actually live out, not just talk about.
This week’s first show? We’re talking:
🥄 Butter made from thin air (yes, really).
🤖 Pregnancy robots (as wild as it sounds).
📅 The mystery and frustration of expiration dates.
And of course, a devotional to anchor our hearts.
Come hang out and listen. It’s encouragement, curiosity, and honest conversation all rolled into one.
Have a blessed week,
Devin
Listen to this week’s Anchor Points
Short, devotional reflections that anchor your day in truth.
Choose Your Hard – Life is full of hard choices: marriage or divorce, fitness or neglect, faith or despair. The truth is, suffering is inevitable, but only one path offers hope: walking through it with Jesus.
Dressed for the Lord – Flip flops or Sunday best? A chance encounter with a woman dressed to the nines for church is a powerful reminder that every Sunday is a special occasion when we gather in God’s house.
First Things First – We chase deadlines and coffee refills, but Matthew 6:33 reminds us what matters most: seeking God first. How different would our days look if He got our best attention, not just the leftover moments?
When We Stumble – The world loves to shout “hypocrite!” when Christians fall. But our stumbles don’t disprove Christ, they reveal how deeply we need Him. We don’t follow perfection in people; we follow grace in Jesus.
TRUTH IN
FAITH OUT
![]() | Truth In: God doesn’t waste uncomfortable places. His power shows up most when we feel the weakest. But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. - 2 Corinthians 12:9 |
Faith Out: Instead of running from the places that feel mismatched or intimidating, lean in and ask, “Lord, why am I here? What are You preparing me for?” Show up again and trust Him to grow you through it.
