We’re told to trust the system—but what if it’s broken?
Now’s the time to lean into discernment, not distraction.

Hi friends,
Hope you’re having a great week and that you had a meaningful and relaxing Memorial Day weekend!
My daughter and I stepped out for a walk through one of the nearby beach towns. Loved seeing all the flags lining the streets. A peaceful reminder of the sacrifice behind the freedom we enjoy.
Back at the house, my husband and son were deep into a poker game with Grandmom. Serious business! Ha. I’m still learning the ropes, but Grandmom walked away with the win. Fitting, since we were also celebrating her birthday. We wrapped it up with some incredible grouper tacos (highly recommend).
It was one of those full but simple days filled with family, fresh air, good food, and a few moments to slow down and be thankful.
Hope your weekend had a little of all that too.
Devin
WORTH MORE THAN GOLD
We’ve been talking this week about gold, silver, and the fragile value of the dollar… but here’s the truth that holds steady no matter what: we are already blessed. Not because of what we hold in our hands, but because of who holds us.
Yes, it is good to plan and be prepared.
But instead of clinging tightly, maybe the invitation is to loosen our grip and let Him hold us. We already have the greatest treasure—one that can’t be manipulated, devalued, or taken away.
I’ve got a song for us… simple, joyful, and exactly what we need when the headlines feel heavy, the debt clock keeps ticking, and the dollar feels a little less certain. It’s a reminder to count our real wealth.
Maybe this song can help carry you through the rest of your week?
